Worth Cup Play - 2nd Week
2/12/06 - The Select Team played very well with only 9
players the whole weekend.
The Coaches would like to thank the team for their efforts.
Winter Ball has come to an end and we Hope you all have a good
High School Season . We are looking forward to seeing you for Summer
Ball.

Worth Cup Play - 1st Week
1/28/06 - The Select team struggled on Saturday , but played
well on Sunday.
Kudos goes out to Gemma Ypparila, who had 2 triples
and went 5 for 5 with a walk, while several college scouts were watching.
The Coaches would also like to mention that Kylie Abrams & Liz Chacon
did a nice job of pitching on Sunday.
Select Practice had a good turn-out.
1/21/06 - The Coaches of Select were happy to see five new
players try out Sunday. We would like to welcome
Pitcher
Kylie Abrams to the Select Family.
Batbusters Tournament
Due to rain The Batbusters tournament was cancelled Sunday.

12/7/05 - The Coaching staff of Select congratulates Jessica
Hulsey,
the 2006 starting catcher, on receiving an Athletic Scholarship to
continue
her education. We are all very proud of her hard work
and
dedication to
the game and the team. We are confident that
she will succeed at
the
next level. She was the #1 Marist recruit !
Lionettes 8 way
Select battled the cold weather this weekend,
with just a limited number of players
available, due to SAT's. The team came up with close games against the
Shilo's,
Lady Cruisers and TNT.
Pre-Thanksgiving Tournament -
Huntington Beach
Coach Harrison was very excited with the girls hitting
this weekend and also
with the outfielders multiply spectacular catches.
He was heard saying " It looks like the Select players are starting to
jell."
A special Kudos goes out to Sarina Dominguez, as she hit a home run
over the center field fence, to bring in 2 runs at the HB Sports
Complex.
Diamonds - Tournament by the Sea
The Coaches of Select appreciate the hard work by the
players, as much improvement
was seen. A special kudos to Liz Chacon, who had 0 earned runs in
three complete games.
while adding a solo home run in the last game victory over the Pirettes.
We look forward to a great showing at the Pre-Thanksgiving tournament.

Select Gold plays well at
Oktoberfest
College Exposure was the order of the
Day.
The Coaches of Select were very happy
with the performance of their players this weekend. We welcomed a
few new faces.
Courtney Krueger, from Fountain Valley & Espie Rothwell, from Oxnard
are nice additions to the Select Team. One of our players is
being heavily recruited by a DI School, while our other seniors have
multiple offers also.
Stockton Showcase: 9/27/05
Plenty of College recruiters were on hand to watch the Select
Team play
their first showcase tournament. "We played better as a team this
week and I appreciate the girls hard work", Says Coach Harrison.
Todd Driscoll Retires at Assistant
Coach
The Coaches and Players of Select would like to say a Found
Farwell to a Great Assistant Coach Todd Driscoll. We were very
lucky to have such a positive role model helping Select in
2004-5.

Fall / Winter Season
9/10/05
As So Cal Select heads into the Fall / Winter Season of 2005-6,
Now is the time for College recruiting We will be playing in the best
tournaments of the winter
season. This will be final preparation for the high school season,
as well as, developing the team for the summer schedule.
